The Three Little Dragons

When they were grown up and ready to adventure out into the Mirror World, the Dragon Goddess called her three favourite dragons to her to impart some final wisdom. She told her children to always keep in mind what is important in their lives, and to never forget what it is that makes them happy. With their wealth of training and newfound wisdom, the three little dragons set out to seek their fortunes.

The first little dragon was a very fun-loving young girl named Liah. She wanted to go out and play with her friends, so she built herself a home of straw, as fast and as easy as she could manage, then went off to frolic in the golden fields.

The second little dragon was a white-haired Doctor named Jarod. Unlike Liah, he was very calm and thoughtful, if somewhat forgetful, so he built himself a sturdy house of brick.

The third little dragon was a powerful swordswoman named Mjrn. She was the wisest of the three, and did not want a weak house, nor one that would consume all of her time, so she created for herself a house of sticks and went off to play with Liah.

Then one day, when Liah was playing in a field, a big bad wolf came upon her. She leapt up and ran hot-foot to her house. When she was safely inside, she heard a voice calling to her:

"Little dragon, little dragon, let me come in!"

"Not in your life!" she said with a grin.

"Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house in!"

With that, the big bad wolf gave a terrific breath and Liah's straw house was blown to pieces. Frightened, she ran away as fast as she could to Jarod's house. When she was safely inside with Jarod, they heard a voice calling to them:

"Little dragons, little dragons, let me come in!"

"Not by the hairs on our chinny-chin-chin!" "Um, Jarod? I'm a girl." "ssshhh.."

"Then I'll huff and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house in!"

The big bad wolf huffed and puffed until he was wheezing and panting. Just when the two little dragons thought they were safe, the big bad wolf had a terrible idea: he walked up to the front door and opened it. I did say he was forgetful.

Liah and Jarod lept out of the window and scurried over to Mjrn's house of sticks. When they were safely inside with her, they heard a voice calling to them:

"Little dragons, little dragons, let me come in!"

And Mjrn killed him.
