Fine. To sum it up. Patients have exhibited symptoms of speaking gibberish and violent behavior.

Close but not quite to the monsters known as infected. Like from Dawn of the Dead, 28 Days Later, and Left 4 Dead.

So what I'm asking, is the rabies virus coming? or is it just a series of coincidental events?

Even if it is the zombies, they're still in Japan. Japan is a small island. So, you know, that's fine. I don't think zombies can swim.

Also, define "abnormal behavior." Violent acts and speaking gibberish? Japan is a country where 99% of the teenagers have some sort of electronic gizmo, many of which flash colours and lights at seizure-inducing speeds, glued to their wrists or surgically bound to their hips. These are people who play synchronized Dance-Dance-Revolution. "Speaking gibberish" is a pretty broad term.

Nonetheless, I'm keeping my escape plan handy. Friggin flesh-eaters...

Well you know. That only works for zombieland zombies. If it's Resident Evil, Left 4 Dead, or any other mutation type zombies. We won't be able to use those rules.

To sumj it up a zombie does not need to swim because they dont breathe hence even if they were to float down i am sure one if not more would make it to another island, and considering if a real zombie outbreak happened humans are morons so if say some guy got bit he would go see a doctor. And thus the cycle we see in all movies will happen.

Very good possibility. But only if it's undead zombies, like in Land of the Dead.

The report I'm saying is like 28 days later. In which they are technically still alive, only really really mad.

Zombies =/= Infected

They are two different types of monster, even though they fit into the same category.

Zombies are slow, half rotting, and hard to kill monsters.

Infected are fast, alive, and die almost as easy as normal humans.

Both have different methods to defeat.
